Beschreibung:Several decades after the so-called double burden was placed on the debate table, and shortly after it was recognized as a triple burden, this phenomenon is still present as a practically insoluble problem in the perception and dynamics in most women. The objective of this article is to present the results of a broad investigation focused on the analysis of the continuities and transformations of traditional gender roles in women with leadership positions in the business sector in Mexico, from the theory of social representations. Qualitative methodology was used, specifically life trajectories, which allows approaching subjectivity as a sociohistorical phenomenon.
