| Diğer Bilgiler: | According to Leibniz the four syllogistic figures are equally valid. We discuss here this thesis in connection with the fourth figure. Without considering the distinction between statements in modo praedicationis and in modo subjectionis, and by using an “artificium reducendi”, Lebiniz arrives at the conclusion that there is an abstract structural identity between the first and fourth figures. But this identity is not syllogistically correct. |
