An introductory reflection on the nature of the current global crisis and the limits of capitalism

| Descripció: | The current global economic crisis can certainly be characterized as systemic and global in nature, occurring in tandem with a crisis of civilization that threatens not only the economic system but also the very fabric of life. It is a recognized fact that this is not just another cyclical crisis, but we need to clarify its nature, at least in an initial and preliminary way. In this essay, we support the thesis of a global systemic crisis, while noting that the foundations of capitalism are also revealing their historical limits and exacerbating global threats to the conditions of life, though this does not necessarily mean it is a terminal crisis; and capitalist, post-capitalist, and anti-capitalist options are all on the table. |
