| Disgrifiad: | This paper reflects on two theories that treat “right to kill” from two very different angles, and presents a political intersection that undoubtedly allows an analysis of the arguments presented from these positions. The work is divided into three parts: (1) The Bio-political discourse from Michel Foucault’s perspective, (2) the Necro-political speech from the perspective of Achille Mbembe, and (3) the intersection of both speeches and those arguments that can be redeemed in order to elicitate a new kind of discourse that emanates from both. We believe that those discourses can be enriched by an inclusive discourse in which both theories converge, scil.: the Subsistence discourse. |
