Descrizione:The following essay is the result of an ethnographic investigation, which was carried out in dancing hall “Karymar”, in San José, Costa Rica, during 2007. This hall its characterized for been one of the few places in which “the swing criollo” can be practiced a Costa Rican popular dance that gather differents generations of dancers around a common practice. This research contribute with new perspectives to the anthropological task, with the social dynamics matter that displays from a culture expression like dance.
