In last years of circulation of this newspaper, intellectuals and governmentofficials of General Tomas Guardia who wrote it, added the character educated ofCosta Rican´s fundament of national identity. The importance of this newspaper is that it isthe first media reports, in which is disclose national and international ethno-cultural characteristicsof Costa Ricans and it is recognized foundational texts about national identityfor more than three decades. |
