| الوصف: | The aim of this paper is to analyze the action of the Inter-American Human Rights Systemas the guardian of freedom of expression and democratic order in the American Continent.Initially, the philosophical basis of freedom as intrinsic value of human been, and democraticorder is briefly emphasized. This is followed by the study of historical evolution of freedomof expression in the International Human Rights Law. Lastly, the article evaluates the jurisprudentialrole of the Inter-American Human Rights System in the protection of freedom ofexpression in the American Continent. |
