The University Extension Professional Training: A Lived Experience

| Disgrifiad: | The students were involved in an extension project, whose learning process is carried out through being, doing and feeling, together with three vulnerable communities in Los Chiles, Alajuela, Costa Rica. The paper also analyzes the contribution of the student participation in the extension project for the resignification of professional training in inclusive social actions. The university education requires the true completeness of knowledge, promoting the student experience in the field, a space in which skills necessary for professional training can be developed from social actions. A call is made to show the advantage, for the university extension, of incorporating university students, calling for a more experimental, meaningful, and transformative formation. |
