| Beskrivelse: | This paper proposes an index named Local Human Development Index (LHDI) that facilitates the analysis of Local Human Development (LHD) in any territory and applies this instrument to the counties that are part of the Brunca region of Costa Rica, evidencing the differences in the capabilities that are present in one and between the different counties. In addition, action lines are established to improve DHL, which were validated with local actors. |
