Miêu tả: | This writing is carried out to achieve an approach to the human right to education from the current perspective, based on what is established in national and international instruments from an approach oriented to gratuity and accessibility, as well as the responsibilities and measures that States must take to guarantee its free access. In addition, education is addressed as the right to a more dignified life and the connection that it has with other rights, as well as the implications that education has for happiness, solidarity, and love in a context of educating citizens with values in search for social justice. Likewise, the limitation in the exercise of the human right to education in the current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic is exposed from the scope of Costa Rican education in view of the bicentennial independence, as well as the systematic exclusion suffered by great part of the region, together they reflect on the fact that education implies more than the option of entering the labor market since it has intrinsic training skills for life, culture and critical thinking. Finally, conclusions are established on how people with fewer resources are being affected and the importance of having spaces for dialogue for the construction of a citizen awareness consistent with current educational needs. |
