It is therefore necessary to rethink the current situation, in order to find the right solutions. Individuals in the Western world have suffered three tears that threaten our humanity itself: the tear of the self, of the social, and of course, the environmental. If we find a way to heal those tears, we may have a chance of survival as a species. This essay studies these problems. |
