الوصف: | An analytical method for the determination of nitrate, sulfate, chloride and oxalate in particulate matter (PM-10) collected in the area of San José City, was validated. The samples were collected, using two high volume samplers with volumetric flow controller, in glass fiber filters (20,3 x 25,4 cm) with an average flow of 1,13 m3/min during 24 hours in two different locations. The quantification of the anions was made using an Ion Chromatograph with ionic suppressor. The anions present in the particulate matter was chiefly nirate and sulfate, that constitute about 2,5 % of the weigh of the collected particles |
