| Deskribapena: | El presente artículo trata sobre la posibilidad de que se levante una cuarta generación de derechos humanos. La perspectiva y método usados en el análisis es la propia de la teoría fundamental del derecho. Se comienza dilucidando la noción de “ola de derechos humanos”; a continuación se señalan las notas fundamentales del mundo digital, sus fines, valores y principios. Con estas bases se diferencian varios contextos comunicativos que en el mundo digital merecen ser tratados con algún grado de independencia, para terminar haciendo una lista no taxativa de los nuevos derechos de cuarta generación.AbstractThis article deals with the possibility that there may arise a fourth generation of human rights. Theperspective and method used in the analysis are typical of the fundamental theory of law. It begins byelucidating the notion of “human rights generation”; then outlines the fundamental characteristics ofthe digital world, its aims, values and principles. On this basis, we distinguish various communicativecontexts in the digital world that deserve to be analyzed with some degree of independence.
