By revealing Santa Sara’s influence on the construction of ethnic policies in Brasília, Mirian offers rich reflections on the possible links between religiosity and power, while Mio Vacite makes us reflect on the potential charismatic construction of a European gypsy saint in contemporary Brazil, and of the possible and necessary negotiations and transformations of Brazilian hybrid ciganidade. |
