| Beschreibung: | This article primarily analyzes the epistemic violence perpetrated against female witches. The main text examined is the Malleus Maleficarum or Der Hexenhammer or Hammer of Witches, also known as the Manual of the Inquisition, written in 1486 by the Dominican priests Heinrich Kramer (1430-1505) and Jacobus Sprenger (1435-1495). After a brief reference to Malleus Maleficarum, the following sections are developed: I. Minimal epistemic relationship and knowledge production. II. Knowledge, learning, violence, biases, and exclusions. III. Inquisition, otherness, witches, and theft. IV. Logic of epistemic domination. V. Conclusions. |
