| Descripció: | In this article, a study of features of etherswitches used in local area networks (LANs) of type Ethernet is presented. They are analyzed from the functional point of view, looking how they are used in different topologies and why they are being used as a competitive option with regard to others like routers and bridges, to improve networks throughput. |
