This social extension appears both in the very nature of the educational process and in the contents, habits, and values that are transferred in educational action. Consequently, education is always a consequence of the historical moment in which it happens, the place where it takes place, the dominant culture, as well as the current socio-political structure (Sarramona, 1994). |
