Descrição:The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), has revealed in its latest report, entitled Synthesis Report Summary for Policymakers, published in 2023 that, as part of these repercussions, rainfall will intensify and with it, local flooding, as well as the inevitable rise in sea level will increase vulnerability and risks to coastal ecosystems, people and infrastructure. The book Blue Planet Law, The Ecology of our Economic and Technological World, edited by Maria Da Glória Garcia and António Cortês (2023), brings together more than thirty authors and is part of the “Sustainable Development Goal Series”. Its main objective is to commemorate half a century since the Stockholm Conference and to generate a reflection on the path to build the Global Law on Ecosystems. the way to build a Global Law on the Earth's ecosystems.
