| Disgrifiad: | Finding a formula to make of our society a more just and a worthy one today seems practically impossible. By analyzing the role of education and reexamining its meaning as well as reconsidering its main concepts is a good first step. It is also of paramount importance in a historical context where social changes and the urgency for a healthier and more fraternal coexistence make of this call, a decisive one. Good political education, the efficient use of technology and the recovery of those key areas of knowledge when it comes to citizenship development within the school and university, as well as the social reconsideration of the role of teachers become a pressing call. A call that as a society we must urgently attend, if what we are really searching for is the construction of a better and happier society. |
