| Deskribapena: | The aim of the article is to present an overview of the beginnings of the development and training of conservative-restorers in Costa Rica from a historical perspective to the current situation. On the other hand, it offers a glimpse into the profession of the document conservator-restorer, its functions and decision-making in their daily work. Some basic concepts about the conservation of cultural property are also developed, as well as the positions of different authors. |
