Описание:This is an investigation to analyze Costa Rica’s public policies generated after the approval of the 2030 Agenda mandate in 2015 and includes 4 examples of international policies to verify compliance with the SDG-5 “Gender Equality” and its nine targets. A naturalistic methodology is used in which the study of 16 public policy documents is carried out, comparing them with each other and under the premise of meeting the United Nations targets of SDG-5. Among the main findings it is determined that only one of the 12 policies analyzedmeets 100% of the targets, implying that 91.67% of these lack one or more of the 9 targets. The main conclusion regarding the objective of the work is that steps are being taken in the right direction with respect to the search for gender equality, although they are still insufficient. Progress and failures are shown. It is therefore recommended to make greater efforts to formulate public policies that include the 9 goals, so that our society is transformed into more inclusive, equitable and gender discrimination eliminated.
