Descripció:The objective of this study was to identify validated assessment instruments that allow for the measurement of Reflective Practice (RP) in higher education training processes. To this end, four auxiliary questions were formulated: (1) What are the general characteristics of studies for the validation of RP instruments?, (2) What are the most commonly used techniques for assessing reflection in higher education?, (3) What are the dimensions or components that contribute to assessing reflection?, and (4) What gaps or limitations are present in research on RP assessment instruments? The method consisted of a systematic review of literature published between 2020 and 2025 in Web of Science, Scopus, and ERIC, considering theoretical, instrumental, and empirical studies. The results show that: (1) questionnaires and scales (57%) are the most widely used instruments with the greatest psychometric support, (2) Asia accounts for the highest percentage of research, and at the disciplinary level, the health sciences provide the most evidence, (3) the dimensions assessed are diverse, with an emphasis on reflective capacity, and (4) the assessment of PR represents a methodological challenge, as it involves objectifying a subjective process linked to the construction of professional identity.
