Opis:This article focuses on a sui-generis musical and visual arts project, undertook by the collective known as Jirondai Project. It stems from a horizontal collaboration between indigenous and non-indigenous musicians, in order to research and compile the ancestral music, bringing it back to the families and communities, recreating and revitalizing it through the arts and technology, integrating grandparents, adults, youngsters, boys and girls in participatory workshops. Jirondai Project has become, for two decades, a powerful creative decolonizing exercise of intercultural initiatives and encounters, multiple and diverse, and successive discoveries of great value that seem never ending.
