| Miêu tả: | This article aims to explore the possibilities offered by museum spaces, especially those that address topics related to the history of socially controversial issues, in relation to the implementation of a specialized didactic approach to the teaching and learning of history at the secondary education level. The research employs a qualitative methodology based on documentary analysis of secondary sources, focusing on a specific exhibition, but with the aspiration that the ideas presented may prove useful in analogous situations. Initially, the text examines the tensions generated by the narratives that take shape within this type of cultural institution. Subsequently, it presents various approaches with the aim of transforming the museum into a space for the development of cognitive skills associated with the acquisition of historical thinking. |
