First record of Thalamoporella floridana Osburn, 1940 (Bryozoa: Cheilostomatida) in the Southwestern Gulf of Mexico

Descrizione:Thalamoporella floridana is a colonial bryozoan that inhabits the shallow waters of the western Atlantic. New records are presented of bryozoan colonies photographed and collected from the coast of Tuxpan, Veracruz, Mexico. The report extends the distribution range of T. floridana to the southwestern of the Gulf of Mexico.
