| Περιγραφή: | En este trabajo se esbozarán los aspectos centrales del “pensamiento amáutico” y revolucionariodel indio Fausto Reinaga en su libro La revolución india (2007), el cual fue escrito a mediadosdel siglo pasado y que constituye una especie de “Biblia India”. En él se describirá, a partir delautor, cómo la filosofía, la religión y las diferentes instituciones occidentales se confabularonpara aniquilar al indio. Se expondrá la propuesta del autor para frenar los atropellos cometidospor Occidente a su raza y cómo su pensamiento ha influenciado los movimientos indígenasdel Abya Yala.AbstractThis paper outlines key aspects of the indigenous philosopher Fauso Reinaga’s so-called “amaunticthinking”, advanced in his posthumous book La Revolución India (2007). Originally written inthe mid-twentieth century, that book constitutes a sort of “Indian Bible”. The paper describes how,according to the author, various Western institutions, philosophy and religion plotted the annihilationof the indigenous peoples. The presentation then moves on to lay out the author’s proposal to stop theabuses committed by the West against Indians.
