Miêu tả:This work presents a brief analysis of the experiences and collective imaginary of the youth population in the socio-historical and cultural contexts of the early 21st Century. It addresses the challenges, problems, opportunities and projects of this population from the perspective of critical pedagogy to, in order to analyze the issue from the viewpoint of the youths, their participation in the sphere of education, labor market, entertainment, and political organizations. The paper incorporates findings derived from field work on critical pedagogy carried out during 2009 in a rural community of Costa Rica.
