Description:This article addresses the relationship between religion and politics based on the neopentecostal fundamentalist phenomenon that in recent decades has played a leading role in different Latin American countries. It seeks to show how this phenomenon has been expanding, with a moralizing agenda that denies, restricts and violates the human rights of so-called “minority” populations
