Περιγραφή:Analysis of the effect of Crotalaria juncea stubble on the quality of an Andisol in Costa Rica. The mineralization of Crotalaria stubble is an important issue based on its impact on the quality of the soils. This was used as green manure for 30 days in an Andisol, analyzing its impact on its fertility. It was carried out with a randomized complete block design, with 4 sampling blocks (0, 10, 20, 30 days) and two treatments (T1 = incorporated stubble and T2 = stubble on the surface) with 5 repetitions; the experimental unit consisted of 10 field plots applying the complete stubble. Potassium increases with 23.68% in T1 and 13.16% in T2, calcium increased 27.72% in T1 and 5.94% in T2, phosphorus then 4 mg / L and increases in T1 to 8 mg / L and in T2 to 5.33 mg / L. In foliar analyzes, greater mineralization is identified in T1 at 10 days, with a contribution of 24.88% of the total nitrogen of the stubble , in T2 the highest contribution occurs at 30 days with 1.18%, the highest carbon utilization is observed in T1 at 10 days with 22.10% of the total carbon contained in the stubble. It is concluded that crotalaria stubble works as green manure due to its positive effect on the soil quality indicators.
