Popis: | The housing problem represents a historical constant in Costa Rica, around which the State has generated a series of regulations and institutions to address it. Despite this, its actions have been far from allowing the construction of just and dignified socio-territorial realities. In this sense, this essay seeks to generate an analysis of the evolution, reality, and challenges that have materialized around housing, to understand the challenges presented by neoliberalism. To this end, the information was structured around three work axes: the deficit, citizen participation, and (de)financing in housing provision. Methodologically, the work is based on a documentary analysis, synthesizing the content of regulations, reports on the state of housing and state institutions, official statistics, and specialized research. |
