Beschreibung:Quality management and academic excellence at UNED have been an institutional priority, as reflected in the Mathematics Education program, which has been accredited four times by SINAES and, in 2024, received the international certification KVI Seal. In this context, self-evaluation and accreditation processes have allowed for the identification of opportunities for improvement. This article aims to describe the actions and strategies implemented to address these opportunities, based on recommendations from external evaluators and reflections from academic staff. The research employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, supported by document review and the systematization of institutional experience. The results demonstrate that accreditation fosters continuous improvement, strengthens decision-making, and guides processes of innovation and ongoing professional development.
