| Description: | This paper offers a theoretical approach to the Theory of Coloniality/Decoloniality through a bibliographic analysis of its key works, in order to highlight its ongoing reliance on a dualistic modernist perspective, which contradicts, to some extent, its own goals of decolonization. In this regard, the study proposes a reconfiguration of the role of materiality, drawing on premises from new materialisms and posthumanism in decolonial thought, suggesting that a greater focus on this aspect could provide new perspectives and more appropriate solutions aligned with the principles of decoloniality. |
