| Disgrifiad: | This research aims to analyze the differences and similarities between the industrial engineer professional profile from the International University of the Americas (2022) and the profile of an industrial engineer according to the Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial Engineers Association (2015). In this research, the aim was to improve the profile of the industrial engineering students at the UIA, to ensure that future engineers enter the Costa Rican employment market more quickly and efficiently. The methodological approach used was the qualitative approach, likewise the main finding of the research was the identification of the differences between both profiles which allowed it to be improved, achieving the positioning of the UIA as one of the best universities at the national level in the field of engineering. |
