| Beskrivning: | This essay identifies the Neoliberal Historic Project (NHP) in Costa Rica (1984-2015) by characterizing it through the identification of both, its theoretical and ideological bases, as well as the historic condition that makes possible this NHP to emerge and get its consolidation. At the same time, some phases are characterized as a part of the NHP along these three decades. At the most recent period or phase, the financial forces have become dominant. This has provoked a worsening of the instability and a variety of asymmetries and then, a condition of crisis and exhaustion of this project. This crisis tends to be deeper and worse because of the negative influence of the world economic crisis. |
