الوصف:The Humedal Palustrino Corral de Piedra, -an extension of the Ramsar site Palo Verde, is located in the District of San Antonio, Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The village of Corral de Piedra, which is adjacent to the wetland, is inhabited by 19 families whose activities are closely related to it, which could constitute a condition of vulnerability for the wetland. As part of a socio-environmental study which is carried out in the area, through interviews and workshops, was determined the perception of the inhabitants of this area about changes in the environment; as well as the main features of the community that promote successful communal management of water.
