Deskribapena:The purpose of this paper was to compare the kinematic demands and heart rate between two different SSG on college soccer players of Costa Rica. Two SSG (2x10min, 3min rest in between), C1 (600m2) and C2 (1200m2), where played by 14 former college players of Costa Rica. Global Positioning System was used to measure speed, distance and heart rate of both conditions. C2 and C1 had statistical differences when compared each other in speed (t(13)= 2,727, p= .017) and distance means (t(13)= 3,415, p= .005). C2 had higher values in both variables. This study confirms the findings of previous studies on the effectiveness of SSG to simulate real game conditions. So it is very effective to maintain similar intensities played in short periods of time. The results indicate that the C2 is a condition that increases in intensity and achieves higher volume compared to C1 game. Likewise, the C2 resembles more accurately matches in official conditions of Costa Rican players.
