| Beskrivning: | Criticism of the media and of globalization are the subjects of the poetry of Cuban exiles in Florida: of which two representative cases of its impact and validity are Humberto López-Cruz and Maricel Mayor Marsán. We are little accustomed to the use of poetic writing for the discussions that arise in a postmodern society, and from the view of the poetic subject, which also offers a point of view of reality while looking at the illusions and the shortcomings that the computer, the Internet, and digital phones radiate in the Neocapitalist and consumeristic society. |
