Disgrifiad:In this short article, I intend to discuss how some Chinese thinkers from the V-III centuries BCE constructed ideas of the past and origin of civilization, seeking to justify their philosophical orientations and their political activity. For this, I will see how the monopoly on the discourse of origin and development of culture has become one of the main spaces of dispute and debate between these philosophical schools. I will use a set of fragments from sources from this period to present these views, showing how they would reinforce the idea of controlling the production of historiographical discourses in ancient China.
