その他の書誌記述:The objective of this work is to determinate factors that could be associated to AIDS patient’s mortality in a meta-analytic study from 2010-2014 in which it was reviewed information about AIDS and the mortality causes in NCBI data base. Data, embed into a matrix, were processed statistically processed according to meta-analysis standards in OpenEpi program (3.0.3). Results show that secondary diseases, such as tuberculosis (rate: 0.1), toxoplasmosis (rate: 1), and Kaposi Sarcoma (rate: 1) keep having an important place among the mortality factors of global AIDS population. Nerveless, data also show that the growing antiretroviral resistance is the main AIDS population’s problem (rate: 10.0). The polymorphism of the immunological receptors on the mortality of AIDS populations (rate: 0.01) has a low impact. In Mexico, this population’s mortality rate is high (rate: 4.5) and very similar to other Latin-American countries (rate: 3.5). Among the determiners of these mortality rates in Mexican AIDS population there could be found low immunological recovery and bad response to antiretroviral therapy.
