Description:I analyze the historical circumstances, national and international political conditions, in the days of the civil war in Costa Rica of 1948, the objective is to present the reader an adequate panorama for the testimonial of Manuel Mora Valverde, leader of the Communist Party of Costa Rica, Deputy in those years to the Congress of the Republic and close contemporary of Monsignor Víctor Manuel Sanabria and ex-president Rafael Calderon Angel Guardia.
