We would have to wait for the emergence of the Upaniṣad for us to be before the philosophical phenomenon, a phenomenon that would later develop the six classical dars̓anas. However, areading of the Ṛg Veda shows us a series hymns before which we can seriously ask ourselves to what extent what we read there is no genuine philosophy. |
