| Описание: | In the process of the entrance of Christianity into China, the figure of Matteo Ricci is fundamental. It represented a qualitative jump, because he established an unprecedented intercultural dialogue. His learning of classical Chinese language and his capacity for dialogue with Chinese educated elites produced a work in Chinese language that became one of the first steps in the field of Sinology. De Amiticia 交友論 (Jiaoyou lun) (1595) compiles and translates into Chinese a selection of aphorisms and philosophical phrases from the Western tradition. This work represents an initial step of high significance for religious and intercultural dialogue. |
