| Disgrifiad: | Abstract: This research presents evidence not only of the existence of the city of Utrera (Seville, Spain) in Roman times, but of the name it had, unknown to date. Thanks to the studies of historical, historiographic, epigraphic and archaeological documents, it proposes as fundamental and specific objectives such events that presented gaps to date, discarding the myths and legends about it. In addition, evidence is presented in this regard and parallels are presented with other cities of the same nature, both in relation to the arrangement of the common dimensions in Roman cities and in terms of chronology and nomenclatures. |
