Disgrifiad:music accompanies man in the main experiences of his life: the party, death, war, love, religion. The power of music was represented in the myth of Orpheus. Orpheus is the paradigm of the great musician: his music puts into trance wild beasts and trees, moves nymphs and persuades the gods. Music has also been the object of reflection of the Greek philosophers Pythagoras, Plato and Aristotle, who considered it essential in the life of man. These thinkers of ancient Greece give us interesting answers to the question: what is music?
