Περιγραφή:ABSTRACT: In this text, a synthesis is made on the development of territorial ordering in the countries of the Western Hemisphere, from antiquity to the present day, reviewing the main approaches to planning and territorial management, as well as the prerogatives of the Public Administration in this matter. There is also a link, between the spatial development model currently in vogue, with the phenomenon of globalization and market liberalization policies, giving an explanation about it. Finally, there is a series of questions about the validity and effectiveness of Urban Law currently.
