| Omschrijving: | Banana territories of the Costarrican Caribbean present a series of characteristics which make it -in a certain extent-homogeneous. These characteristics are centered in the symbolic relationships which are interiorized by the workers, assuminig a role in the productive structure of the activity, reproducing many signífications. They are reinforced by the omnipresence of trade unions in the banana territory, acting as a mask of the workers' alieniation. |
