| Opis: | In many instances, crisis drive changes that mark societal evolution. This has applied to nature-society relationships by the analysis whereby crises determine this type of relationships and vice-versa. This essay examines some possible avenues of action, motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic, towards more resilient and sustainable societies. Furthermore, it briefly examines the relationship between infectious diseases and human environmental actions, as well as some initiatives that are being promoted to engender social changes towards sustainability. |
