| Deskribapena: | The article describes the phases prior to migration (internal and external displacement) of South American transvestites/trans people who reside in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA). Through a qualitative approach and a theoretical sample of 44 cases, it was found that the interviewees experience different hostilities towards their gender identities, for which they must leave their environments and move away from their families before migrating to the AMBA. |
