| Popis: | Schwartzitrema anhingi sp. nov. is described from the small intestine of an Indian Darter (Snake bird), Anhinga melanogaster Pennant. A key to differentiate the five species of the genus Schwartzitrema (Vigueras, 1940) Vigueras, 1941 is given. A new subfamily, Schwartzitreminae, is proposed for the genus. |
