Deskribapena:In the past, to undergo training representing professional can obta informal employment in the respective area and the rise almostguaranteed throughout life, often within the same institution. Professional knowledge was durable.Technological advances and the global economy havecreated new rules that are inthemselves, potentially, opportunity and risk1.In the new rules derived from the contextglobal economy, the emphasis on competitiveness andDirect access to the rapid technological advancement,increasingly less available labor continuity,which involved studying a profession.I think education is again on itselfreflectors. While it is true that the rules of the game have changed, from the economic viewpointEconomic as well as to the possibilitiestoday provides the information, needsfundamental human remain the same.The following paper presents a reflection onthe phenomenon of globalization and its impact onHigher Education. It questions the task of the University in the context of technological and globalized economy.
